These Sweet William seeds grow fragrant flowers that are ideal for cutting in late spring & early summer with rich & varied colour combinations. Seed can also be sown outdoors in short, shallow pre watered rows. Lightly cover with a little soil & keep the soil moist until seedlings emerge. Thin them out to 15cm apart when large enough to handle to allow young plants to develop.

Advice & Tips:
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in the warmth 10-15°C & keep moist.
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm apart into trays of potting compost.
Gradually accustom plants to outside condition for 2-3 weeks before planting out during autumn. Young plants will then become established before the onset of winter. Allow 15cm between plants.
