Since then, Pavers has grown into one of the most successful footwear retailers in the UK and Eire and one of the fastest growing and most profitable in Europe. Pavers continues to diversify and in 2018 announced the acquisition of Jones Bootmaker and Herring Shoes, broadening its product offering. Last year the retailer also announced the launch of its charitable trust, The Pavers Foundation.
The business operates across a broad multi-channel network, selling its products in over 170 stores nationwide, pavers.co.uk, catalogues and Pavers YouTube Channel.
Waterside Garden Centre & Adam Frost Event raises £4000 for Charity - 10th January 2020
Adam Frost is an award-winning gardening celebrity who is passionate about all things gardening and Waterside were honoured to have Adam join us for an evening to talk to us about his gardening passion and journey back in October 2019.
The money raised from the event was to be donated to Don't Lose Hope charity, who offer therapeutic and emotional support to members of our community and is staffed by volunteers and trained professionals. The event was extremely popular after we sold out of our VIP tickets within just 24 hours of them officially going on sale.
"We do everything we can to give back to our beloved community and it’s a privilege to be able to spotlight such an important charity.
"But none of this would have been possible without Adam very generously offering his time.” Said Matt, Planteria Manager.
The night was held in our Oasis Restaurant where Adam, wife Selina and 50 other VIPs enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal prepared by our fantastic restaurant team. There was also a raffle that every ticket holder was entered into for FREE, prizes were donated by some of our generous suppliers. Offering the chance to win a range of high-ticket items. Shoppers were also able to shop late with 10% off the entire store!
“We’re honoured to be hosting this event, to raise awareness for such a wonderful charity and as part of our ongoing mission, give back to the local gardening community.
"We try to offer an inspiring space for recreation to encourage gardeners to share their knowledge, skills and ideas with the community,” said Emma, Oasis Restaurant Supervisor.
Since the event - a cheque for £4000.00 was presented to Nicola from Don’t Lose Hope on the 10th January 2020.
