Unwins - Foxglove Excelsior Mix

This fantastic Foxglove seed mix attracts beneficial insects & suits being grown in partial shade. These foxgloves will produce bold flowers all around the stem in an attractive range of colours.

Foxglove seed can also be sown outdoors in short, shallow pre watered rows. Lightly cover with a little soil & keep the soil moist until seedlings emerge. Think them out to 2cm apart when large enough to handle before transplanting to their permanent positions in the autumn.

Advice & Tips:

• Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface & lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in the warmth 10-15°C & keep moist.
• Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough too handle transplant 5cm apart into trays of potting compost.
• Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when the danger of frost has passed. Allow 30cm between plants.
