Forget Me Nots make great for ground cover & can be planted with spring bulbs giving great displays in Spring. The hardy biennal seed can be sown both indoors & outdoors, which will develop into delicate blue sprays of colour.

Seed can also be sown outdoors in short, shallow pre watered rows. Lightly cover with a little soil & keep the soil moist until seedlings emerge. Think them out to 2cm apart when large enough to handle before transplanting to their permanent positions in the autumn.

Advice & Tips:

• Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface & lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in the warmth 10-15°C & keep moist.
• Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough too handle transplant 5cm apart into trays of potting compost.
• Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when the danger of frost has passed. Allow 20cm between plants.
