The Pompom Dahlia seed mix produces bright, colourful blooms that make fantastic long-lasting cut flowers. These small perfectly formed colourful Dahlia flowers look stunning cut in a vase at home.

Advice & Tips:

• Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, & lightly cover them with a dusting of sifted compost. Place them in the warmth 15-20°C & keep moist.
• Keep seedlings in a light position but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle transplant into trays of potting compost 5cm apart or individually into 8cm pots.
• Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks. Plant out once there is no further danger to frost. Allow 45cm between plants.
• Dahlias can be prone to Botrytis on foliage so remove lower leaves regularly.
• Lift plants at the end of the season and allow to go dormant indoors before replanting the following year after spring.
