The Xanthos variety of Cosmos flower is known for its soft yellow shade. It makes an excellent cut flower with soft ferny foliage. This half hardy annual Cosmos has a long flowering period & is great in containers.

Advice & Tips:
Level fill a tray with seed compost, filming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Scatter seeds thinly, lightly covering with vermiculite. Place in a propagator at 18-25°C or cover tray with cling film & leave in a warm room.
When shoots appear, remove cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When plants are 5cm tal, transplant 5cm apart into small pots or module trays Grow on at a minimum temperature of 10°C.
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when the risk of frost has passed. Allow 20cm between plants. Water well until established.
Deadhead faded blooms to keep plants blooming for longer.
