This quick cropping & bolt resistant Boltardy beetroot seed variety is highly popular, producing excellent globe shaped beets.

Supplied as multigerm seeds, several plants in one seed. Use thinnings as baby leaf salad. When harvesting beet, twist the tops of the roots rather than cutting them as this prevents bleeding.

• Sow regularly for successional crops

Advice & Tips:

• Sow seeds thinly, about 2cm apart in pre-watered shallow rows, and cover with a little soil. Allow about 30cm between rows.
• As seedlings develop, thin them to about 10cm apart. Keep soil moist at all times to prevent roots from becoming dry & woody.
