Advice & Tips:

• Asparagus requires a free draining, fertile soil.
• Adding well rotted compost, manure or a good general fertilizer will improve yields.
• Plant in a trench at least 1.2m long & 25cm deep. If growing several beds of asparagus, allow 90cm between the beds.
• Keep the soil moist during growing season & remove any weeds to prevent them from competing for food/water.
