Philadelphus 'Belle Etoile' 3L
For many years this has been a classic garden plant. In mid-summer, the whole of the shrub is adorned with single, white, fragrant flowers almost square in appearance, each with a central maroon blotch to the petals and golden stamens. Foliage oval, mid-green, turning yellow before falling in autumn. Plant as a specimen, en masse or for the back of mixed or shrub borders.

| Planting | Soak the root-ball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the root-ball or pot. Mix an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established. |
