The Ability Shop is a family run mobility business that began as an accessible bathing company - Ability Bathing Ltd. We specialise in custom wheelchairs, mobility scooters, mobility aids and accessible bathrooms. One of our directors is a wheelchair user himself so we know what it is like to live with a mobility problem and believe we can offer quality advice and the right products to suit our customers needs. Giving our customers the independence they deserve is the most important thing to us.

The Ability Shop offers a range of mobility aids, walking aids, mobility scooters, Cosyfeet shoes, Rise and Recline chairs and beds as well as our accessible bathroom showroom. Here you can see various bathing options available to people with mobility issues or anyone just wanting to upgrade their bathroom! We also offer a free hearing test in partnership with Hidden Hearing.

We have a range of mobility scooters from compact and lightweight to road worthy 8mph scooters from companies such as Motion Healthcare, Moving Life and Drive DeVilbiss. Our wheelchair range consists of standard ‘off the shelf’ models and custom made children and adult wheelchairs from Ki Mobility. Our Cosyfeet range consists of shoes, slippers, socks and hosiery for men and women that suffer from swelling in their feet and ankles.
