Mr Fothergill's Cucumber Seeds - Marketmore 76 Variety
Marketmore 76 is a popular outdoor slicing cucumber variety that has a good resistance to powdery & downy mildew. These seeds are ideal for growing in pots or growbags and will yield straight dark green-skinned fruits with a mild sweet flavour.
Sow between February-June & they will typically be ready to Harvest between July-October.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow indoors in small pots & water well
- Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 21-24°C is ideal & keep moist
- Seedlings usually appear within 7-14 days
- When plants have developed 3-4 leaves transplant into 12cm pots & grow on in cooler conditions
- Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out
- Pinch out growing tips when 6 leaves have formed to encourage side shoots
- Or sows outdoors allowing 60cm between rows
- This cucumber will also crop well in growing bags & large pots but will need plenty of water & occasional feeding
