This celeriac variety is easier to grow than celery, yielding quality large & flavourful roots that are easily washable. Sow these seeds indoors for great tasting celeriacs that are great as a cooked vegetable or grated raw in salads.
Sow indoors between March-April & they will typically be ready to Harvest between August-December.

Advice & Tips:
Sow indoors in trays of seed compost
Water well & keep in the warmth - a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal
Seedlings usually appear within 14-21 days
Transplant to other trays when large enough
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out - avoid frosts
Plant so the upper part of the root sits on the surface of the soil
Water well & remove outer leaves as roots swell
For higher yields give plants a liquid feed during the summer
Roots can be stored in a cool, dry, airy location for several months
