Mr Fothergills Carrot Seeds - Royal Chantenay 3 Variety
Royal Chantenay 3 is a fast growing carrot variety with short conical roots, ideal for growing in containers or shallow, stony soil. Sow these seeds outdoors for very sweet, small carrots that can be cooked whole. Roots can be lifted young for baby carrots or left to mature.
Sow outdoors between March-July & they will typically be ready to Harvest between June-November.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors where they will crop, allowing 30cm between rows
- Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days
- Thin by harvesting young carrots evenly, allowing some to grow on
- Water well until established
- Sow every 3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply of young roots
- Roots can be lifted in autumn; remove soil & store in dry sand
