Mr Fothergills Beetroot Seeds - Golden Eye Variety
Golden Eye is an easy to grow beetroot variety with an unusual golden colour & great flavour. These seeds will yield sweet flavoured beets that are great for roasting, juicing or grating in salads. Roots can be lifted young as baby beets or left to mature for larger beets.
Sow outdoors between April-July & they will typically be ready to harvest between July-October.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors where they will crop, allowing 30cm between rows
- Seedlings usually appear in 7-21 days
- Thin seedlings to 10cm apart
- Water well until established
- Sow every 3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply of young beets
- Harvested roots can be stored in dry sand for winter use
- For baby beets lift when they are the size of a golf ball
- Twisting off the leaves will prevent bleeding
