Sharpes Express seed potatoes are an ideal choice for mashing, boiling and baking, but are also wonderful in salads as they can be harvested early in the summer.
The potatoes are long and oval in shape, with a white skin and pale yellow coloured flesh - with a good resistance to common scab, this heritage variety is a favourite amongst gardeners and is known for its wonderful taste.

Advice & Tips:
Soon after purchasing, empty the seed potatoes into a shallow box, such as an egg box, and store them in a cool area protected from frost.
Two weeks before planting out, move the seed potatoes to a light area so that they can produce a strong, thick sprout - make sure they are rose eye upwards. When exposed to light, the potatoes will turn green - this is normal.
When planted into the ground, each potato should be approximately 25cm from the next, with rows spaced approximately 60cm apart. The potatoes should be approximately 15cm into the ground.
