Westland Houseplant Potting Mix Peat Free is a naturally peat free blend that has been specially formulated for potting or re-potting most indoor plants. This specialist potting mix is made up of wood fibre and perlite to boost airflow and drainage for healthy root development. It is complete with added Seramis for optimum water & nutrient retention and essential nutrients that will feed your houseplants for up to six weeks, for stronger growth & greener leaves.

This is the peat free version of Westland Houseplant Potting Mix.

Advice & Tips:

• Place plants in bright positions but out of direct sunlight if possible
• Try to avoid dramatic changes in room temperature as this may cause leaf drop
• Reseal bag after use
• Wear gloves when handling this product & wash hands after use
• Store in a dry, frost free place away from weedkillers & other garden chemicals
• Treat houseplants to a leaf shine to remove dust

How To Use:

Potting & Re-Potting;

• Water plant well & allow to drain
• Choose a pot around 3-5cm larger than the old one with drainage holes & place a layer of potting mix in the bottom
• Carefully remove the plant from its current pot & remove old potting mix from the plant's roots
• Place the plant into the new pot ensuring the root ball is slightly below the rim of the new pot
• Fill the pot with potting mix & water well

Feeding;

• Westland House Plant Potting Mix contains sufficient nutrients to feed plants for approx. 6 weeks
• Feed every second watering in the active growing season(spring/summer) and every fourth watering in the winter
