  • Re-seal the bag after use

Application Rate:

Area Application Rate
Soil Conditioning Spread an even layer of manure 3-4cm deep over the soil and fork in to a depth of 15-20cm
Mulching Use as mulch on herbaceous and shrub borders by spreading a layer 3-4cm deep between the plants
Lawns Spread a layer of manure 3-4cm deep when preparing the ground for laying new lawns or turf. Dig into the top 15cm of the soil to improve drainage and retain moisture.
Vegetable Plots & Allotments Use when preparing vegetable beds in the Autumn and Spring. Add a generous amount to the bottom of the trench while digging
Planting Roses, Trees & Shrubs Dig the planting hole larger than the root ball. Mix one part manure to five parts soil and use this mixture to line the planting hole and to fill in around the roots
