Advice & Tips:
Level fill a module tray with seed compost firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Sow seeds individually pushing the seeds into the compost so they are 1cm deep. Place in a propagator at 15-20°C or cover tray with cling film & leave in a warm room.
When shoots appear ventilate the propagator or remove the cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. Grow on in a minimum temperature of 10°C keeping moist.
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out 20cm apart when the risk of frost has passed. Water well until established.
Remove spent flower heads by pinching off back to the main stem of the plant to prolong flowering.
