These Unwins Redbor seeds will produce gorgeous heads of kale that will turn red in the cool weather. The redbor kale seeds are high in Vitamin C and are typically ready for harvest in the coldest months of the year when home grown vegetables are in short supply making them the perfect vegetable for your winter dinners.

Sow indoors from March - July and outdoors from April - July & they will typically be Harvested between November - March.

Advice & Tips:

• Sow seeds thinly in a seed & cutting compost and ensure that it is kept moist
• Keep seedlings in a light position but shade from direct sunlight
• When the seedlings have produced four true leaves, transport them into their cropping positions.
• Gradually accustom young plants to conditions outside for 2-3 weeks before planting outside to their cropping positions.
• Protect seedlings from cabbage white butterfly with netting
