The China Aster seed mix is an old fashioned single flower variety which will look fantastic growing in borders & ideal for cut flowers. Although the Aster plants have strong stems they may need support with canes as they grow.

• Half hardy annual
• Plant height: 75cm Plant spacing: 30cm
• Old fashioned, single-flowered asters

Advice & Tips:

• Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface & lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in the warmth 15-20°C & keep moist.
• Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm apart into trays of potting compost.
• Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out from April onwards. Allow 30cm between plants.
