Taylors Bulbs - Luka Johanna Dahlia Tubers

Flowering all summer long, Luka Johanna is a stunning addition to your garden's beds and borders, with large blooms that look beautiful next to other similarly-coloured flowers.

Each flower head is slightly flatter than a standard Dahlia bloom, similar to a water lily flower; the flower's green centre slowly unfurls to reveal slightly curved pink petals, which grow darker as the flower matures. Luka Johanna grows to an approximate height of 80cm; although smaller than other Dahlia varieties, each flower will still bring colour and elegance to your outdoor space.

Advice & Tips:

• Plant in late spring once the risk of frost has passed, in a location with plenty of sun.
• Tubers should be planted in the ground approximately 15cm deep, with approximately 60cm between dahlia tubers.
• Dahlias like to be well-watered, but not waterlogged, so their soil needs good drainage.
• After the flowers have died down, lift the tubers and store in a frost-free location in dry compost until the Spring, or leave in the ground and cover with mulch in the winter months if in a mild location.
