Freya's Paso Doble is an intriguing Dahlia variety which will bring a unique feel to any garden space, with its daisy-like flowers blooming all summer long.
Each flower has a simple colour scheme, with the bright yellow centre formed by layers of small petals which have slightly ruffled edges, and the white outer petals creating a stunning contrast. The eventual diameter for each bloom measures approximately 12cm, making this a wonderful variety for containers, and for use in bouquets and cut arrangements.
Key Information:
Flowering height of 100cm
Bright yellow and white petals, with a daisy-like appearance
Flowers all summer long
Advice & Tips:
Plant in late spring once the risk of frost has passed, in a location with plenty of sun.
Tubers should be planted in the ground approximately 15cm deep, with approximately 60cm between dahlia tubers.
Dahlias like to be well-watered, but not waterlogged, so their soil needs good drainage.
After the flowers have died down, lift the tubers and store in a frost-free location in dry compost until the Spring, or leave in the ground and cover with mulch in the winter months if in a mild location.
