Add grandeur to your garden with this collection of Dinner Plate Dahlias by Taylors Bulbs; each pack contains both Avignon and Cambridge varieties, which produce large flower heads of up to 25cm all summer long.

Once in your garden, these Dahlia varieties can grow to nearly a metre tall, making them the perfect choice for adding height to your raised beds. Although not suitable for container growing, the flowers look beautiful when cut and placed in a vase for indoor floral arrangements; cutting the flower heads will also encourage the Dahlias to bloom more.

• Dahlia Avignon - cream white and purple coloured flowers
• Dahlia Cambridge - yellow and deep red coloured flowers
• Both varieties in this pack reach a height of 90cm.
• Dinner Plate Dahlias - flower heads can reach of width of up to 25cm
• Plants should be supported with stakes to avoid flower heads drooping or snapping

Advice & Tips:

• Plant in late spring once the risk of frost has passed, in a location with plenty of sun.
• Tubers should should planted in the ground approximately 15cm deep, with approximately 90cm between dahlia tubers.
• Dahlias like to be well-watered, but not waterlogged, so their soil needs good drainage.
• After the flowers have died down, lift the tubers and store in a frost-free location in dry compost until the Spring, or leave in the ground and cover with mulch in the winter months if in a mild location.
