Mr Fothergill's Tomato Seeds - Sweetbaby Variety

Sweetbaby is a cordon cherry type tomato with a very sweet flavour. Grow these tomato seeds in a greenhouse or outdoors for large crops of small, tasty cherry tomatoes that are a great source of vitamin C & antioxidants.

Sow between January-April & they will typically be ready to harvest between June-October.

• Heavy cropper with sweet, small cherry sized toms
• Indeterminate - needs support
• Source of vitamin C & antioxidants
• Can be grown in a greenhouse or outdoors

Advice & Tips:

• Sow thinly indoors in pot of compost
• Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal & keep moist
• Seedlings usually appear within 7-14 days
• Transplant to individual pots when seedlings are 10-15cm tall & grow on in cooler conditions
• Plant out April-May to large pots, growbags or greenhouse borders
• Provide support, pinch out side shoots regularly & pinch out growing tip after 5-6 trusses have set
• Delay indoor sowing to March or April for outdoor crops
• Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out - avoid frosts
• Plant out 45cm apart when frosts are over
• Tomatoes growing in a greenhouse require plenty of ventilation & water, feed regularly once trusses have set
