Mr Fothergills Celebration Runner Bean Seeds

Celebration is a British bred runner bean variety with high yields of good quality straight & fleshy pods & attractive pink flowers, great for growing in flower borders in gardens with limited space. Sow these seeds indoors or outdoors for great tasting beans that are ideal for deep freezing and provide a good source of vitamin C & fibre.

Sow indoors between April-May or sow outside between May-July & they will typically be ready to Harvest between July-October.

Advice & Tips:

• Sow indoors in individual pots for best results
• Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal & keep moist
• Seedlings usually appear within 7-14 days
• Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out - avoid frosts
• Delay sowing outdoors if soil is cold or waterlogged
• Water well until established
• Provide poles or netting for plants to climb
• Pick regularly to encourage further cropping
