This mixed lettuce selection from Mr. Fothergills is quick & easy to grow, yielding colourful, dark red leaves that can be harvested as both baby leaves & full heads. Each variety included will grow at a different rate, giving a different salad mix at each cut. These seeds are great for sowing in gardens with limited space as they can be grown in containers on the patio.

Each pack contains Lollo rossa, Roselee, Red salad bowl, Rossa di Trento, Little Leprechaun & Red Sails varieties in equal quantities.

Sow outdoors between March-August & they will typically be ready to harvest between April-October.

Advice & Tips:

• Sow thinly outdoors
• For cut & come again baby leaves allow 15cm between rows or sow into 25cm pots
• Seedlings usually appear within 7-14 days
• Sow every 2-3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply of leaves
• Harvest a few leaves from each plant when approx. 10cm high to encourage re-growth
• For mature leaves allow 25cm between rows & thin to 20cm apart
• Whole plants can be harvested from May
