Mr Fothergills Lettuce Seeds - Lollo Rossa Variety
Lollo Rossa is an easy to grow, long lasting lettuce variety with frilly leaves that are tinged an attractive red. These seeds will grow neat, round lettuces that can be harvested by picking individual leaves as needed or as whole 'non-hearting' heads.
Sow outdoors between March-August & they will typically be ready to Harvest between May-October.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors allowing 25cm between rows
- Seedlings usually appear within 7-14 days
- Thin out to 20cm apart
- No thinning is necessary if only baby leaves are required
- Water well until established
- Sow every 2-3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply of leaves
- For baby leaves cut a few leaves from each plant; they will grow back for up to 4 cuts
- Cut the whole heads of mature plants
