Purple Sun F1 is a maincrop Nantes type carrot with a sweet flavour. Sow these seeds outdoors for rich purple roots that provide a great source of vitamin A & antioxidants. Best eaten raw, lightly steamed or in stir-fries to retain colour.

Sow outdoors between March-July & they will typically be ready to harvest between June-November.

Advice & Tips:

• Sow thinly outdoors where they will crop, allowing 30cm between rows
• Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days
• Thin by harvesting young carrots evenly, allowing some to grow on
• Water well until established
• Sow every 3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply of young roots
• Roots can be lifted in autumn; remove soil & store in dry sand
