Offenham 2 is a versatile cabbage variety that can be cropped in both spring & autumn for either hearted cabbages or spring greens. These seeds will produce tasty cabbages with solid, pointed green heads that are a great source of vitamin C & antioxidants.

Sow indoors between March-May or outdoors between March-May & July-August. July-August sowings will typically be ready to Harvest as 'greens' between February-March or hearted from April-May. March-May sowings will typically be ready to Harvest as 'greens' between September-November.

Advice & Tips:

• Sow thinly outdoors & water well until plants are established
• Seedlings usually appear within 14-21 days
• Transplant 45cm apart when plants reach 10cm tall, allowing 45cm between rows
• Plant firmly & water well
• Or sow thinly indoors into a tray of compost & water well
• Place in a cold frame or cold greenhouse & keep moist
• Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out
• Apply a high nitrogen fertiliser in early spring to give over-wintered plants a boost
