Erin Excel Peat-Reduced Composts are the result of a major joint product development effort by Erin and a leading horticultural research station. The blend of Erin's unique mix of composted, recycled organic materials and top quality sphagnum moss peat, with it's balance of plant nutrients, trace elements, and a wetting agent produces excellent growing results.

This ericaceous compost is great for growing alpines, azaleas, camellias, conifers, heathers, hydrangeas, magnolias, pieris, rhododendrons, shrub acers and other lime-hating plants. It can be used in pots, containers, tubs & beds where the garden soil is too alkaline or chalky.

This compost will also feed plants for the first 6 to 8 weeks after planting.
