Westland Houseplant Potting Mix is a specially blended mix perfect for potting or re-potting most indoor plants such as cacti & bottle gardens.
A peat free version of Westland Houseplant Potting Mix is now available.
Key Information:
- Added perlite for optimum airflow & drainage
- Contains Seramis to help water retention
- Promotes healthier growth & greener leaves
Advice & Tips:
- Place plants in bright positions but out of direct sunlight if possible
- Try to avoid dramatic changes in room temperature as this may cause leaf drop
- Reseal bag after use
- Wear gloves when handling this product & wash hands after use
- Treat houseplants to a leaf shine to remove dust
How To Use:
Potting & Re-Potting;
- Water plant well & allow to drain
- Choose a pot around 3-5cm larger than the old one with drainage holes & place a layer of potting mix in the bottom.
- Carefully remove the plant from its current pot, holding it upright in the middle of the new pot, carefully fill with potting mix around the sides until the pot is full.
- Tap the pot to settle the mix & water well.
Feeding;
- Westland House Plant Potting Mix contains sufficient nutrients to feed plants for approx. 6 weeks
- Feed every second watering in the active growing season(spring/summer) and every fourth watering in the winter
